A very fine, full-bodied maritime certified organic Shiraz from 5 Star winery Brash Higgins in McLaren Vale. Nori, violet, clove, blueberry, tapenade and salumi. Impressive tannin management incorporating a lick of whole bunches and gentle reduction, imparting a clasp of tension. The barrel work, an addendum. Sits well in the mouth, all parts synchronised. 94 points from James Halliday.
