A certified biodynamic Savagnin from 5 Red Star winery Gemtree in McLaren Vale. Savagnin is a fresh and crisp white wine. Pale straw with a shimmer of green in colour. Aromas of pine needles, aniseed, freshly cut grass and white flowers. More citrus accented on the palate and bracingly fresh with some phenolics and grapefruit pith-like texture. Enjoy with fish, shellfish, friends and passionate conversation. 90 points from James Halliday.
