Tscharke The Master Montepulciano

Certified organic Montepulciano sourced from Marananga in the west of the Barossa. Bright crimson-purple in colour. Fragrant, perfumed bouquet of cherry and raspberry. Texture to the fruit and some oak. Red fruit, earthy and liquorice notes on the pallet. Nicely balanced medium-full bodied with good length. Wild yeast, whole bunch-fermented with treading and plunging by hand. 12 months in used French oak and minimal SO2 the only addition.
